Pradeep K Sastry has written and directed a Kannada feature film on startups called "Made in Bengaluru" which opened to positive
reviews across Karnataka's multiplexes. Following which, the film went on to be nominated in the prestigious SIIMA awards 2023 for
"Best Debut Director" .
The urban social dram's theme and the narrative took the film to the prestigious competition section of "Bengaluru International Film Festival".
Alongside being a brand advisor to multiple brands and startups, Pradeep K Sastry has also been active in the advertising space
and has written and directed a number of web and TV ads for various brands
such as Toyota, Practo, Uber, Mercedes etc.
A kannada wildlife song he penned won the coveted "Green Oscars (Jackson Wild Media Awards)" making it the first ever
South Indian language film in history to bag the honours. The victory was celebrated by many wildlife enthusiasts and key
personalities of the state including the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
A 30 minute short film that he made called "Nityakarma" which follows the travails of a young man and his sister who are victims of
tech abuse won the "Best film in Kannada" in the prestigious "Bengaluru International Short film festival". The film was also screened
at the "Toronto Film Festival".
A 1-minute film writtend and directed by him for the startup "Practo" was one of the few films which were screened to
the Hon'ble PM of India Sri.Narendra Modi on the occasion of "Start up India Conclave".
